The Guernsey Consultation

You are not alone. Increasingly, these concerns are being expressed by missionaries and faced by mission leaders and agencies around the globe.

In one of the significant initiatives designed to address these issues biblically and constructively, mission leaders from 9 countries and 13 agencies gathered on Guernsey Island for a Consultation on Singles in Ministry.

Cambridge scholar Barry Danylak, author of Redeeming Singleness: How the storyline of Scripture affirms the single life, presented a biblical overview of singleness, marriage and offspring and their impact on value, identity, role and blessing in society and in the kingdom of God.

This foundational teaching is now available to the broader mission community through this five part video series, filmed during the consultation. This is certain to be an excellent resource for individuals, teams, churches and mission organizations facing the challenges of life and ministry in the 21st century.
